Baby Landon came very close to his due date, but his mama had been in prodromal labor for almost a week, so when it was “time” — her whole birth team was thrilled. Labor started at 1 am and I got the call to come shortly before 6 am. Mama labored at home for a while until she felt ready and then we had a smooth ride to the birth center. We weren’t there more than 40 minutes when Baby Landon came into the world — the birth pool was only half full! It was a gorgeous birth!
