Baby Claire was nice enough to come exactly on her due date and during the day time, no less! Claire’s mama found out she was 7 cm dilated at her regular checkup (although she’d be having regular cramping all night long) and was sent straight to the hospital. When I arrived, she and her hubby were all smiles, enjoying the anticipation of baby to come. Eventually, she turned a corner and labor got more intense. It was absolutely breathtaking to watch them work as a team to bring their little one into the world. When it was time for baby to come, the midwife handed the baby to Dad, who laid her gently on her mama’s chest. I also got to stay until Baby Claire met both sets of grandparents and an aunt and uncle. Sweet baby Claire was born into an awesome family! I hope she grows up to be as strong as her Mama and as helpful as her Daddy ♥
